Dr. Olufunke Oluseyi Chenube is a dedicated Senior Lecturer and Counselling Psychologist at the University of Delta, Agbor. She holds a B.A. (Ed) in Language Arts (English) from the University of Ilorin, and both a Master’s and PhD in Counselling Psychology from the University of Lagos and the University of Ilorin, respectively.
Dr. Chenube's research and teaching are centered on addressing critical behavioral issues among young people, with a particular emphasis on alcohol and drug use, the long-term effects of adverse childhood experiences, violence against women, and the importance of early childhood education. Her commitment to these areas is reflected in her numerous publications and presentations at conferences on local, national, and international levels.
Beyond her academic contributions, Dr. Chenube has been actively involved in various administrative roles and has served on numerous committees within the university, where she has contributed to shaping policies and initiatives that enhance student welfare and academic excellence.
Outside her professional commitments, Dr. Chenube is happily married and enjoys a fulfilling family life with her children.
